Hobbystation 1/10 Offroad Race Day

6pm-10pm Wednesday November 23rd at Hobbystation

3/103 Cryers Rd, East Tamaki

The shop will be closed to general customers during the event so that we can focus on the racing but our checkout will be open for any spare parts you may need on the day!

The track is set up now and is available for practice during busniness hours leading up to the event.

Entry Fee

Purchasing this item will grant entry for 1 person into the event. $20 per person regardless of how many classes entered.

Race Classes

Available classes for the first event are:

Depending on numbers we may initially race stock and mod together, though your results will be based off final finishing position relative to the class you entered. There is almost no difference in lap times between stock and mod on our track so this should work well and hopefully mean that we can run a more efficient event with more laps and less waiting around. If classes are combined, we will still do our best to put as many mod together and stock together as we can for the qualifying rounds.

Rules

We will be using NZRCA rules for the above classes. Event procedure will be very similar to what you are used to from club days. Open practice (possibly with a controlled practice/seeding round), followed by two rounds of qualifying and then one round of finals.

Recommended tires

Our track is high grip carpet, similar to the carpet tracks you see in the USA. Brand new high grip tires will likely have too much traction. We recommend either using tires that have already done one club day at another track, or using the VP-Pro carpet tires which have a good grip level from new. This is the perfect opportunity to get more use out of your expensive tires after they start to lose grip at your club track.

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
