JConcepts - TRAXXAS BIG BORE SHOCK LIMITER KIT FOR SCALPEL CONVERSION

The Scalpel conversion kit has been popular on and off the track.   JConcepts has released a shock limiter kit to make the off-road to on-road transition that much easier.  6 pieces of long and 4 pieces of short nylon travel limiters are included in each package.  Install 1 short limiter inside each front shock and 1 long limiter on the outside of the shaft per the included diagram.    The rear is completed by adding 2 long limiters inside each rear shock and 1 short limiter on the outside of the shaft.   Add the desired oil front and rear and assemble the shocks, install them back onto the vehicle and set ride-height as normal.

SC6.1 STREET ELIMINATOR BUILD

In order to setup your SC6.1 to make it a Street Eliminator machine, it’s necessary to make changes. First, check our build located on the JConcepts Garage showing the detail and parts used throughout. The JConcepts racer has been built using B6 front and rear arms as well as turnbuckles which bolt directly to the SC6.1. It’s necessary to run a B6 buggy front shock tower and shocks on the front-end while the rear should also use stadium truck front shocks and the JConcepts #2419 rear tower.
